These are how the curry rice be served in plate in Japan...I got the prawn curry rice and my friend had the vegetable curry rice... looked just a bit, but it really made you full, too full when you finish to the end......

they purposely want to make it like home curry rice....

anyway, the curry was sweet, not spicy...
